2021 Holiday Decor Staples to Use Throughout the Years
/Year after year, it can be tempting to want to purchase all new holiday decor. Of course it is always fun to add new pieces each year, but a complete overhaul just isn't practical.
I have learned to spend more on the basics for holiday decor that can be used year after year, and then add a few items each year to change it up. As a result, we end up saving money in the end. I don't feel like we need a new Christmas tree every year. I want one {or two or three} that I can use year after year with just some basic updating, for instance.
What are the basics for holiday decor?
The basics can be different for everybody. I like to stick to a bunch of neutral items so that every year, little touches can be added to change it up on a budget. Decor in your home should reflect your personality.
Why is it important to have these basics?
Because in the end, you save money! I'm all about saving a few dollars. And if that means spending a few more dollars on something that will last longer, I am all for it!
